Day ONE

Is it too early to say I give up? I had grand plans today to paint an oil painting. Do you have any idea how messy oil painting is? After two hours of painting, I had a grayish/brown canvas and I'm almost certain I was high off the paint thinner fumes. How do I know this? Because I turned into a crazy person. I got really sad and gchatted my roommate about how depressed I was for several hours. Then I showered, dressed for a bike ride, and laid down on the couch.
